May you water my  childhood seeds

When you cuddled me close
Gave me a peck on my nose
Touched me like I was a rose

Long ago maybe,
But,
Even now I smell the comfort that rose!

The touch of you so strong, I felt
The strength of like steel, I saw
The smell of you so sweet, I smelled

Long ago maybe,
But,
Even now I know that I always needed more!

With words unspoken and rules unbroken
Little did I know I will feel so broken

A day at a time, let me reveal myself
A word at a time, let me tell you my needs
A touch at a time, may you water my  childhood seeds
