I’ve gone past this place so many times, but I’ve never noticed it!

Sharing my reading for the day…

Live in the moment!

As one of my former colleagues would say;

Oh Mate, It’s one of those wanky statements

refering to overused, misused, and often misunderstood one liners that every Tom, Dick, and Harry decides to drop in any random conversation.

Toms, Dicks, or Harrys of the world, please don’t take any offence, your names were used figuratively ๐Ÿ˜‰

Unfortunately, most of these so called “wanky statements“, have quite a bit of substance, if you pause to taker deeper look into the meaning, rather than be stuck on to the words!

I’ve heard that in any given moment, billions of bits of information is thrown at you. This probably includes everything we get as input from our five sensory organs, and our own mind activity (thoughts). But most of us only concentrate on the thoughts, mostly about future or past, and miss everything that is presented to you brand new from the external world.

So I believe, in any given moment, one should practice to choose the most important bits of information out those billions of information that is missed by our conscious mind and brain activity. Maybe sometimes the thought is more important than your surroundings, especially if you’re at work trying to work on a piece of code or a report that needs to be presented.

But, how unfortunate if we solely live our lives in thought! Don’t you think?

Get the joke? ๐Ÿ˜‰ Maybe not!! ๐Ÿ˜

Isn’t it quite common that sometimes we find ourselves saying;

I’ve gone past this place so many times, but I’ve never noticed it!

So imagine how much we miss out, from your often boring and routine everyday. It doesn’t have to be boring and routine, if you go exploring, studying every moment, as closely as possible.

You might learn a lot more about your surroundings, but more importantly, about you, parts of you that you didn’t know existed!

On that note, let’s move on the the next moment or the next wanky statement, shall we?
